Hope’s Point
Lady Hammers Mountain View Retreat
Wake up to the view.
Stay for the feeling.
Our Story:
The Story of Hope’s Point
For a long time, I thought the goal was to keep moving.
Work harder. Fix the next thing. Finish the next project. Take care of everyone. Make the house better. Make life better.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something:
Life isn’t supposed to be a list of things we managed to accomplish.
This little piece of the world has always felt different to us. There is something about looking out over the mountains, sitting with a cup of coffee, watching the birds, tending the garden, gathering around a fire, or simply listening to the quiet that makes everything else seem a little less urgent.
It reminds us that there is another way to measure a good day.
Not by how much we got done. But by how it felt.
By the people we shared it with.
By the stories we made.
By the things we noticed.
By having enough time to simply be.
We named this place Hope’s Point because hope, to us, isn’t about waiting for some perfect future. It’s the belief that we can always choose a different way forward.
A slower morning.
A new adventure.
A conversation that lasts until the fire burns low.
A walk with no destination.
A meal shared around the table.
A little more time with the people we love.
Maybe even a reminder that you don’t have to earn your right to rest.
We hope Hope’s Point gives you some of that.
Come here to explore, to reconnect, to make memories, or to do absolutely nothing for a while.
There is not a schedule for that.
Just leave a little room for life to happen.

A little history
You can read more in attached link but despite Wicked Warren's harsh personality, the town boasts a fantastic selection of downtown breweries and wine bars.
Jakes Rock trails and Overlooks
is a scenic natural area for hiking/camping and an award-winning mountain biking destination located in the Allegheny National Forest in Warren County, northwestern Pennsylvania
The Legend of Wicked Warren
In 1830, German immigrant Werner Muller arrived in Pennsylvania, embezzled a small fortune from an oil company, and cleverly changed his name to Warren—claiming the newly incorporated town was named after him. Using his stolen wealth and secret family traditions tied to Germany's famous beer purity laws, he opened a highly successful brewery on the West Side.
While his beer was legendary, his explosive temper earned him the nickname "Wicked Warren." After one berating too many, his fed-up Brew Master beat him to death with a stirring paddle and hid the body inside the morning's beer mash. Today, Warren’s ghost is said to still haunt the old brewery, forever stirring the pot.
